BuDhaBead Bib: An Ancient Classic Made New

BuDhaBead Bib in Alabaster White

One of the oldest styles of jewelry in the history of adornment is the bib necklace.

Bib necklaces, or collars, were found as early as 7th century Greek and Roman jewelry. Through time, the bib necklace was altered and refined. Today, bib necklaces are a quintessential statement piece for casual and formal attire alike.

Our BuDhaBead Bib is crafted from Burmese quartzite beads and is hand-knotted between each bead. The triple strand confection is linked in the back with a wide band of neoprene elastic for maximum comfort, durability, and style. The beaded strands are punctuated on either side with a black tassel to bring about sophistication and fun.

The juxtaposition of textures and design elements creates a dramatic, substantial collar for any occasion.

Whether you're wearing your BuDhaBead Bib on a simple black dress or printed chiffon blouse, it is sure to stand out. The two tassels on either side of the beads adds a touch of movement and reminds us of vintage Yves Saint Laurent jewelry.
