Wealth To Enjoy

“Wealth is not his that has it, but his that enjoys it.” -Benjamin Franklin

I was recently interviewed on the subject of joy, and the person interviewing me asked me to define joy…my reply was: “Joy is the lack of lack.” This is how I relate to Mr. Franklin’s quote; wealth is in the mind. It is knowing that you are complete, and it is living each and every day crazy well with what you have.

Please don’t confuse this “complete” feeling with not having ambition or working to achieve your goals, it is being complete during this journey. Enjoy the gifts you are surrounded by each and every day because when you don’t have these gifts, it is a rude awakening.

My morning mantra has wealth as its core, and I find it very grounding. I would like to share it with you:

Take a few moments to clear your mind and imagine the following raining down upon you while saying:

May I have health wealth

May I have wisdom wealth

May I have financial wealth

Then…Go, live in wealth.
