Bainbridge

Falling in love and being realistic sometimes are very far apart…It has been over eight years now that I said to myself: “Jessica, this is where I want to live and where I want to depart this world (eventually).” I want to commit to Bainbridge.

Let me begin by saying that before we made the leap we: visited numerous times at different times of the year, we got to know the residents, we looked at tons of real estate, we dined out often, we got to know the local artisans, bread makers, chicken enthusiasts, flower mavens, garden gods & goddesses, landscapers, architects, wellness gurus…well you get the picture, this was not a spur of the moment decision, although it was definitely love at first sight.

I hope to be worthy of my new community. I plan to participate, create, and grow. Yes, my dear friends, for those who have known me…gone are the Saint Laurents and Valentinos…hello Wellies (although I did find pink Wellies in Paris), and Patagonia.

I can’t wait to cultivate my garden, build my dream home, be a contributing member at The Barn, have some doggos, and have a new habitat for Fred (oh yeah, he’s coming), eventually start my new business called BISC (more on that later).

So please stay tuned for the new adventures of JJ in Bainbridge Island, ya’ll don’t be strangers now.
