Jessica Entertains || Paella Night

Jessica, our CEO and Creative Director, loves to entertain and she and her husband, Bill, who also happens to be BuDhaGirl's Chief Financial Guru, do it beautifully.  Their dinner parties are poetry in motion and a feast for all the senses.  For this occasion Jessica and Bill hosted a Paella night.  If you are unfamiliar with Paella it is a Spanish rice dish.  There are as many versions of the Paella as there are villages in Spain as each one has their special recipes but there are a few rules that must be followed by everyone- for example, unlike the risotto, the rice is not to be stirred. To keep in the theme with the Paella, Jessica and Bill also offered Sangria, Spanish Tortilla, and Serrano Ham. The table setting was a work of art.  Jessica's long and festive table with colorful vases, flowers, plates and tablecloths was sensational.  Jessica's magic is in how she mixes everything. She is a true mix master. Guests could tell right away they would be in for a real treat.

Paella is a difficult dish to make but Bill, the evening's chef, really outdid himself with the Rabbit Paella. And when guests thought it couldn't get any better he pulled out a divine apple tart for dessert.  For Bill and Jessica entertaining is many things. For one, they enjoy the prep work together as they both love food and cooking proving to be a wonderful bonding experience.  They also enjoy sharing their creations with their friends and offering them a gift of time, love, care and dedication. After all, it is all spending time with your loved ones and sharing a part of your world with them.
