What to do...what to do?

Do you ever find yourself so completely overwhelmed by the countless amount of choices available to you that you actually freeze?

In this new world we live in (especially if we are blessed to live in the United States), we have the power and freedom of choice over so many things. Technology has made this vast power of choice instantaneous…this actually becomes dangerous. We have few, if any filters, to analyze if the choice we are making in the blink of an eye, is actually something good, something we really want, and something that will not cause us problems.

Famous last words.

How many times have we wished we had made another choice because we acted on impulse…too quickly?

When life gives you this cornucopia of choices and you have decisions to make, my advice is to compartmentalize, compartmentalize, compartmentalize. This exercise of breaking down tasks will help you not freeze and be able to move forward, and it will also save you from rash decisions.

There are two steps to begin your journey towards “action.”

Decide what is necessary, what is needed.

Then move on to what is desired, what is wanted.

Make two lists. Take a deep breath. You know you can do it, so just do. Get to a place where the what to do’s…are done.
