Office Wisdom

No matter where you work or how long you've been in your position, we can all agree there are certain codes of conduct we must all adhere to to make working environments collaborative and successful. Today, everyone on the BuDhaGirl team is sharing their words of wisdom for how to best work in an office environment. Add your additions to our list in the comments below!

Jessica: Be polite. Always be polite. And when you are done being polite, switch jobs.

Caryn:  “You are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with.- Jim Rohn”  We are greatly influenced by those around us.  It’s a great thing when you can surround yourself with positive, happy people.  But that is not always possible.  Be the best you, you can be and help others create that same mindset in their lives.

Cathy: Being at work involves the same principles as being at the playground. Be nice and don't kick sand in anybody's eye.

Twyla: At the office, it's important to be aware of your self and to be aware of others. Be self aware so you're mindful of things like your messy desk or noise pollution. Be aware of others so you can pick up on the mood of the office and do your part to be a helpful, positive force where you are needed.
